Introduction

This document contains a detailed guide on the various mechanics in the game.
While this guide is not really needed to successful play the game (all the informations are scattered throughout the game world), sometimes it may be hard to find.
If you have any questions or concerns please message in the Discord or email me at mimus@mimusstudios.com.

Player Slave Traits

The following information can be found in-game by pressing (T) or using the [T] Button in the right Corner at the Bottom in Shintani's home.

Obedience

Obedience represents how you are viewed as a slave. You really want to keep this value up if possible. The consequences for letting this value fall to zero include beatings, loss of trust, and potentially death.
You can raise obedience by working in the Shintani household every day. To not lose obedience while sleeping you must work at least 1 hour a day on easy difficulties, and at least 4 hours a day on normal and harder difficulties
(this information can be found if you ask Shintani about his rules).

Trust

Trust in this world is hard to come by, and is thus one of the more important stats. Raising Trust to a maximum allows you to raise your status,
(see Section \ref{sec:status})
which in-turn unlocks events and progression of the story.
The standard way to gain trust is to maintain a high obedience. When you are a low slave, you gain around 15 trust per night if your obedience is greater than 90. Once you are a slave, this gain falls to 5 trust per night. You can also gain small amounts of trust by performing obedience actions during work events.
If your trust falls to 0, then your status will go down and your trust will reset to 50. Having an obedience of zero also causes trust to drop.

Willpower

Willpower reflects your ability to resist commands from your master as well as your personal identity.
It is very easy, and may be expected for this stat to be very low in the early game. Being stuck in the Hiroyuki household, always under the eye of your master, would not encourage development of self. Thus as a low-slave you can expect this value to be near zero.

Once you've started Quest
\textit{The Nipon Economy}
(see Section \ref{sec:the_nipon_economy})
, you'll be able to leave the house and will gain willpower by being outside of the house.
When you are spending a lot of time outside, you should see your willpower rise drastically. Finally you can also increase your willpower by being openly disobedient to Shintani or slaves of higher status.

Player Conditions

Heath

Your health is a pretty self explanatory condition.
Essentially if your health ever hits zero for any reason you die and will need to reload a previous save.
Currently in subphase 1 there is no way to increase your maximum health aside from picking the
\textit{Hearty} title.

Stamina

Stamina is a very important resource and will always be constantly drained from the moment that you wake up. The rate at which stamina drains is inversely proportional to your strength, so having a high strength means both staying out longer as well as regaining more stamina when you sleep. Stamina can also be used (spent) in the beginning of the day if you are a male character and choose to have some slaves on a cum-centric diet.
Relaxing will cut your rate of stamina drain by half, but your stamina will still decrease regardless. Finally, Shintani forces all of his slaves to wake up at 7AM, so sleeping late will result in less stamina being restored, but it still resets the amount of time you're awake, so you can still do some work before going right back to sleep again.

Player Titles

Titles are an important mechanic in this game and for the most part add permanent bonuses to your character.
You can start with anywhere from one to three titles. The first title specifies your background, and the remaining two you can choose from in the intro (or choose none at all).

Status

Status is an extremely useful mechanic and unlocks parts of the story.
You can raise your status while being a slave of Shintani by having your trust be at 100, then sleeping. This will reset your trust back down to 5 as well as raise your status. The main statuses that the player can be while being a slave is: (1) Low slave, (2) Slave, and (3) High slave. A higher status allows you to gain control of lower status slaves as well as allows you to force them to do things. Having a higher status removes the ability of a lower status slave to resist your molestation attempts at night, as well as rape attempts during the day.

Sex Scenes

The amount of sexual content in this game is split into three categories:
(1) Sex during the day with Shintani or your slaves,
(2) Molesting slaves during the night, and
(3) Radiant scenes in Nipon.

Daytime Sex

You can have sex with any of Shintani's slaves as well as your own in his house. Whether or not the slaves enjoy it is another story. When querying for a sexual action, there will be a check to see if the slave is okay with you doing it.
This check threshold is dependent on (in order of significance):

  • Their arousal
  • Their affection and disposition
  • Their sex preferences
  • Your sex skill

  • Finally, when trying to convince slaves to do certain actions, the threshold cutoff for the manipulation roll is equal to the initial threshold. Meaning that it'll be easier to convince people to do certain actions if their arousal is high, or affection is higher, or etc.

    Consensual Sex

When performing consensual sex, the slave will most likely enjoy it (with the degree of enjoyment scaling with their arousal).
Making a slave orgasm under this state has a chance of increasing their preference (or fetishes) depending on the last action you did. This is a great way to raise a slave's sex value.

    Non-Consensual Sex

The sex becomes non-consensual as soon as you force yourself onto them. All subsequent actions will be viewed as rape and not be enjoyable. To either succeed in this, you either need a high strength, have a higher status than them, or simply own them (if they are your slave).

    Night Molesting

Molesting slaves at night is available for slaves not on night assignments after 10PM.
During the scene the major factors to consider are suspicion, which wakes the character up when hitting 50. Suspicion is a mental condition that carries over to the next day, (but decays over time), so it is not advisable to molest someone night after night.
The suspicion the character has over the player molesting them will rise through time naturally, but also if the player does not pass dexterity checks (which are harder for riskier actions), they will incur an additional suspicion penalty.

Finally, at the end of the session when the player wants to leave, they should clean up and make sure that everything was the way they found it, else the character will be suspicious in the morning.

    Radiant Scenes

There are many radiant sex scenes throughout the world. Here are a couple of them:

  • (1) Asking Emily for help on the training fee when you don't have any money,
  • (2) Paying Audrey,
  • (3) Helping Himari with her favor, and
  • (4) Checking on assigned slaves who have high sex value at the brothel.
  • Quests

    Life of a Slave

This quest is an introductory quest and is obtained by asking Shintani what you can do to help at any status. It doesn't give anything special except some guidance for players.

    The Nipon Economy

The Nipon Economy is a very important quest that features turning an initial 200 lari into 1000 with any means possible. This quest first becomes available once the player has rise their status to a slave and asks Shintani what they can do to help out. Once this quest has been given the player will be given permission to leave the household and spend time outside. Finishing this quest is also required to progress in quest \textit{Power Struggles} as it solidifies Shintani's trust in us. (Hint: You can keep the Money if you finish the Quest!)

    Knowledge is Power

The quest knowledge for power gives access to the Library in Shintani's Home which allows the player to study. Studying is one way to raise intelligence, education, tact, and manipulation. While the library is fully implemented, this quest is not able to be finished without having the title
    \textit{Lost Knowledge}.
Currently there is no way to attain this title outside of picking it to start with. Attaining this title will be possible in later phases.

    Books

Books can be studied to slightly raise intelligence and other stats. They cannot be read or obtained without title
    \textit{Lost Knowledge}.
The location of the first two books are

  • (1) In the Shintani Library, and
  • (2) On the hands of the Bartender at Divine Touch.
The lore behind these books will eventually uncover some of the lost technologies that will be instrumental in the founding of your arcology.
